In A Spirit Of Brotherhood

Article 1.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

I love being everywhere, were humans are respected. I feel uncomfortable and bad, when I see discrimination or abuse. I enjoy a diversity of societies. Canada is one among them. Whole Caucasus and Georgia too are very diverse. I just love it: our brotherhood of nations and ethnic groups. However we forget, that living together peacefully and respecting each other is possible and desirable. We start to hate differences, instead of celebrating them.

As I mentioned above, Canada is very diverse. Here live many people from around the world. They all can exercise their culture, speak their language and feel themselves at home. I don't see or hear about discrimination so often, but it happens sometimes. Usually it's not the government, but some private persons, who may are a little racist. If there is any case, media and Government officials are trying to bring better understanding between people, because it is at the same time success of a country and of all people living there.

Some days back at the bus stop a man start talking loudly about woman, who was helping another woman to cross the street. He said, he never saw black person (black was highlighted in his speech) helping white person. There were at the bus stop some black and some white people standing. We all were shocked. This man didn't said anything bad directly, but shown with his attitude and farther monologue, that he sees people in categories, that he can't imagine one or another, belonging to some race, being a good person. This is racism.

...Of course I made him clear that his ideas were not welcome and I hope he got it exactly right.
